Silver Hawk Casino

When Complete Construction built multiple casinos in Black Hawk in 1991, historical accuracy was required. Every window removed needed to go through the historical architectural review committee (a.k.a. HARC). In the later 90's, larger "Vegas" type casinos started to move in, the restrictions were relaxed, and the historical committee was dissolved.

The Silver Hawk Casino in Black Hawk is a replica of an historical gold mill. The rustic barnwood for this project came from Grand Junction, Colorado, and the bar came from Montana. Though the high standards of historical accuracy were a challenge that subsequent builders in the area avoided, this casino stands as a testament to the amazing results you can achieve when strictly replicating an historic look.
